MIXING
Mixing is combining multitrack recordings into one or more channels. Here, we will tweak a recording's EQ, compression, volume, reverbs, delays, choruses and other effects to give the song a specific experience or flavor.
MASTERING
The final round of EQ, compression, limiting, harmonic and spatial FX applied to the stereo file to create a polished product.
PRODUCING
Producing, or seeing a project from start to finish, including songwriting and creative contributions. Most artists are their own producers, but some welcome an unbiased, professional ear.

I'm Cameron Karren, your Recording Engineer.
I graduated from CSU Monterey Bay with a degree in Audio Engineering and have been working in a recording studio for the last few years with award winning recording artist Joe Johnston (Cake). My passion is providing artists with a stress-free recording experience and a finished product they can be proud of.
THE STUDIO
I have the privilege of working out of one of the best recording studios in the Sacramento area. The studio is comfortable and inviting with over 1,000 sqft, full of gear, wood paneling, great acoustics, and good vibes. The space is designed to feel like home while you're doing the hard work of laying track.
